Driving through Uyuni salt flats during the rainy season (J.Camarlinghi)There are many outstanding landscapes in the central Andes, starting from the Pacific coastline through the central high plateaus, up to the mountains, and down to the Amazon basin.

Bolivia, Peru, Chile and Argentina share one of the natural wonders of our planet: the high altitude Andean desert. The area includes the Atacama Desert, the Uyuni salt flats, the Andean lagoons and several National Parks.

Although, sometimes we may use 2WD vehicles on easy roads, we have named "4WD Journeys" to this kind of trips because; that is the best way to visit this region due to the long distances we have to cover and the state of the secondary roads we often use.

We combine the rough road driving with hikes to visit the National Parks, archaeological sites amazing landscapes. We stay in charming hotels in the main cities and the best accommodation available in the countryside.
