The most advanced mountaineering school in Cordillera Real lead by UIAGM professional guides/instructors.

Ascent to Willa Llojeta peak. Picture R.Audet What would justify you to travel all the way to the Andes to have a similar instruction than in anyone of several mountaineering schools in some European countries and in the USA?.

First of all let us tell you that this is the first and only professional mountaineering school in the Andes. Our instructors have been trained either by the German Alpine Club (Deutschen Alpenvereins, DAV) or the Chamonix climbing and ski school (ENSA). As members of the Bolivian Mountain Guides Association, have got the certification of the International Mountain Guides Association (IMGA, UIAGM, IVBV).

This one is a great vacation in which you will not only learn Internationally approved mountaineering techniques but also visit an exotic destination and meet an ancient culture. The school "campus" is located in one of the most beautiful valleys of Cordillera Real. One of the few unspoiled and isolated regions of the Andes. Our guides will give you a deep insight to the local culture while you learn and practice the climbing techniques.

At the end of the school program, you will have the knowledge of the basic mountaineering techniques: from walking in different type of terrains, rock climbing, snow and ice climbing, glacier travel and basic crevasse rescue techniques. After the instruction, we will attempt a high altitude peak in the seldom-visited massif of Chachacomani in Cordillera Real.

The day-by-day itinerary also includes detailed information about the instruction content, both theoretical and in the field.
