There are dozens if not hundreds of new agencies popping up everywhere in the country. As the climbers population arises, problems grow and more unattended complaints have been reported to the “Tourism Police”. While the prices spiral down and casualties grow in numbers, we have maintained our professional level of service as we have done since 1992. In this industry you really "get what you pay for". It is not worth to gamble with your safety by settling for the lowest price. Not to mention, it won’t be as fun.

Commercial Mountaineering is a serious activity and you should do it with a professional guide. After intensive training and courses finally a group of Bolivian mountain guides have been certified by the International Mountain Guides Association (IMGA, UIAGM, IVBV). For mountaineering trips, we only work with these guides.

Opposed to "Trekking Peaks", "Mountaineering Expeditions" require more endurance, and usually more experience and technical knowledge. Most of the routes involve extremely long summit-days and often glacier traversing, crevasse crossing or steep ice climbing.

Mountains are renowned for several reasons: some because of their height, others because of their beauty, others because of their difficulty or lack of, and also if the approach is relatively easy. There are mountains in the Andes that are well known for all the reasons above.

As is our tradition, our main goal is to guide you through the routes in the safest possible way. That is why all of our expeditions start with an initial acclimatization program, which is the key of success at high altitude.

The mountain range of the Andes, is longer than 5,000km (3,105mi) along South Americas eastern side, been the second highest range in the world after the Himalayas, and still growing. In Bolivia the Andes split in two main lines; at the east the tectonic snow capped peaks and at the west the volcanoes.

Here you can still found remote areas where new peaks or routes are possible to be found; a real paradise where no fees or special permits are required, and the possibility are endless.
